Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replays. Microsoft explains how it collects and uses data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell leads to other advertisers.

Google Ads lead forms

Some of our search ads include a Google Ads lead form (for example a form titled Request a Drawing Review). Google shows the form, collects the answers and then sends the lead to us. The form collects only these fields:

FieldWhy we ask
NameSo we know who to reply to.
Email addressSo we can reply, and so you can send drawings after the form (the form itself cannot attach files).
Phone numberSo we can call or message you, including on WhatsApp, about the same project. There is no separate WhatsApp field on the Google form.
“Do you have drawings for this project?”A single choice: architect or shop drawings / a sketch with dimensions / not yet, still exploring. We use it to know whether we can start a drawing review.

We do not ask for street address, city, state, postcode, company name or job title on this form.

Google stores the lead in our Google Ads account and can send us an email copy at admin@doublebuilding.com. Google states that advertisers can download recent leads as a CSV for a limited window, and that Google keeps lead-form data for a limited time (Google’s current help text: download about the last 30 days; storage about 60 days). After that, we rely on the copy in our own inbox and inquiry record. Google’s own processing is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and in About lead form assets.

Drawings and other files

If you email plans, sketches, dimensions or photos to admin@doublebuilding.com, or send them on WhatsApp, we treat them as project material for the same inquiry: shop-drawing review, fabrication, packing and shipment. We do not post customer drawings as public marketing unless you have agreed to that separately.

How long we keep it

We keep an inquiry while we are answering it and, if the project goes ahead, while we are drawing, making, packing, shipping and supporting the order. We do not publish a single deletion date for every inquiry, because an active project file is not the same as an unanswered message. If you want an inquiry deleted from our mailbox and inquiry record, email us and say so.

Google and Microsoft keep the data their tools collect under their own retention rules.

Where the data goes

You may be in the United States, Australia, Canada or elsewhere. Our team reads inquiries in China, and Google and Microsoft may process data in other countries. That is an international transfer. We do it because the team that reviews drawings and makes your order is in China.

Your choices

Email admin@doublebuilding.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct a name or number, to ask us to delete your inquiry, or to ask us to stop following up. If you live in a US state with a privacy law, such as California, you can make these requests too. We will not treat you differently for asking.

For ads and analytics, use the Google, Microsoft and browser controls listed in “Cookies and tools on this website”.

Children

This website and our ads are for people planning a staircase, railing or cabinetry project — typically a property owner or their builder. We do not aim them at children, and we do not knowingly collect a child’s information.

Changes

If we change what we collect or the tools on this site, we will update this page and the date at the top.
