Frameless, Sliding, Pivot & Hinged Configurations

A frameless shower defines the master bath — the line of glass, the absence of a frame, the morning light falling across the floor. We build frameless and semi-frameless shower enclosures in sliding, pivot, and hinged door configurations. Glass is supplied tempered, pre-drilled for the hinge and clamp positions, and surface-treated for water-spot resistance on request. Each enclosure ships as glass panels, hardware kit, and seal set ready for the installer to hang against your finished tile or stone surround. Hardware comes in brushed nickel, matte black, brushed brass, and polished chrome to match the bathroom's other fixtures. Designed in Guangdong, glass tempered and drilled in our owned workshop, and crated for export to your site.

VILLA & COUNTRY HOME

Wet-room glass walls, walk-in steam showers, his-and-hers shower banks. Single oversized fixed-panel screens (no door at all) for full wet-room treatment, dual-door pivot enclosures for his-and-hers, and steam-rated full-height frameless glass with sealed top. Hardware finishes coordinated with the bath fixtures — brushed brass or matte black across the entire bathroom suite.

NEW HOME BUILD

Master and guest bathrooms in a new home, ensuite walk-in showers. Frameless or semi-frameless hinged-door enclosures, with a fixed panel and a hinged door panel, or a single fixed panel for walk-in showers. Common picks are matte-black hinges with clear tempered glass for modern; brushed nickel with low-iron glass for transitional. Niche corner enclosures with a pivot door work for tight ensuites.

APARTMENT & CONDO

Apartment ensuite showers, condo guest baths, penthouse master suites. Compact and mid-size shower footprints with sliding-door enclosures — the volume residential picks. One hardware finish and one glass type runs across the unit or the building, with each enclosure labeled by apartment number for clean install.

HOSPITALITY & BOUTIQUE HOTELS

Hotel guest bathrooms, gym and spa locker rooms, fitness-club shower banks. Repeat-unit semi-frameless and frameless enclosures sized to the hotel guest bath template — sliding-door configurations preferred for tight footprints, pivot for larger ensuite layouts. Hardware spec'd for daily use across many guest cycles, with replaceable seal strips.

About Our Shower Enclosure Production

A shower enclosure is a tempered-glass bathroom partition — frameless, semi-frameless, sliding, pivot, hinged, or walk-in. Each one ships pre-drilled for hinge and clamp positions, with matched hardware and seal strips ready for the installer to set against finished tile. For the owner planning a master-bath shower as the centerpiece of the suite — and the contractor coordinating tile, fall, and glass. Frameless showers depend on precise glass cuts, hinge positions, and a seal that tracks the floor. The seal strip at the base needs to follow the floor's actual fall. The door panel needs to swing without hitting the toilet or vanity already in the bathroom. The glass thickness needs to match the door size. We address each one at the drawing stage. Glass thickness sized to the panel. Hinge and clamp drilling done at the factory (never on site). Seal strips supplied in over-length so the installer trims to fit the actual floor. A door-swing simulation against your bathroom plan before fabrication.

Every order starts with the bathroom plan and the shower-base layout. Base shape (square, rectangle, neo-angle, walk-in), base lip orientation, the door swing direction, and what fixtures the door has to clear. We return a CAD elevation with each glass panel drawn to size. Hinge and clamp positions marked, glass type (clear, low-iron, frosted, fluted) labeled, and hardware finish specified. Glass is tempered and surface-coated for water-spot resistance in our facility. Hardware is then fitted to the panel for trial assembly on our workshop frame. After sign-off the glass is dismounted, edge-padded, and packed in vertical wood crates with foam corner blocks. Hardware is bagged by panel and seal strips are cut over-length. A PDF install manual rides with each enclosure. Designed in Guangdong, glass tempered and drilled in our owned workshop.

After delivery, your contractor or installer handles fitting. We provide an assembly guide and a step-by-step video. Where local installation is available in your region, we help you find a vetted installer.

Spec Snapshot

A typical shower enclosure order specifies the frame style (frameless, semi-frameless) and the door operation (hinged, pivot, sliding, or walk-in with no door). Glass spec covers tempered safety glass — clear, low-iron, frosted, or fluted. Surface treatment is an easy-clean nano-coating for water-spot resistance. Hardware finish — brushed nickel, matte black, brushed brass, polished chrome, or oil-rubbed bronze — matches across hinges, clamps, knobs, and seal channels. Glass thickness is sized to panel dimension at the drawing stage.

How to Spec for Your Project

Start with the bathroom plan: shower-base shape (square, rectangle, neo-angle, walk-in), opening width and height. Note door swing direction and what fixtures the door has to clear. Pick the frame style — frameless for cleanest look; semi-frameless for taller or wider openings where the header bar adds rigidity. Choose the glass type (clear, low-iron, frosted, or fluted) and a hardware finish that matches the bath's other fixtures. Sending the brand and finish code of the faucet and towel rail helps us color-match. Building code references covered in shop drawings include IRC R308 for safety glazing (USA), AS 1288 for glass in buildings (Australia), and NCC / CSA equivalents. A licensed engineer in your jurisdiction handles final stamping where required.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the minimum opening width for a sliding shower?

A sliding shower needs enough opening width that one panel can fully overlap the other and still leave a usable entry. A wider opening is comfortable for sliding. Tighter footprints work better with a pivot or hinged door, which gives the full opening width as access. We'll draw both options at your shower-base dimension so you can see which one actually works in the space.

Do you supply matching hardware finish across enclosure and hinges?

Yes. Hinges, clamps, door knobs or pulls, seal channels, and top-header bars all ship in one coordinated finish. Choose brushed nickel, matte black, brushed brass, polished chrome, or oil-rubbed bronze. We can also match the shower hardware to your other bath fixtures (faucet, towel rail, toilet flush plate). Send the brand and finish code for color-match.

Frameless versus semi-frameless — what's the difference?

A frameless enclosure has no metal frame on the glass itself; the door pivots on glass-to-wall hinges and the fixed panel clamps to the wall. A semi-frameless enclosure has a small header bar and sometimes a hinge-side jamb, which adds rigidity for taller or wider openings. Frameless looks cleaner; semi-frameless is more forgiving of slight out-of-plumb walls. Both are tempered safety glass, both pre-drilled at the factory.

How is a shower enclosure packed for ocean freight?

Each glass panel ships vertically in a wood crate with foam corner blocks and felt-edge protection along all four edges. Hardware (hinges, clamps, knobs, seals) is bagged by panel position and labeled. Seal strips ship over-length so the installer can trim to the actual floor condition. A PDF install manual rides with the enclosure.

Do you provide drawings my local engineer can stamp?

Yes. Shop drawings reference the relevant code families for the United States, Australia, and Canada (IRC, IBC, AS 1657, AS 1288, NCC, CSA). For shower enclosures the engineering review usually covers tempered-glass selection for the panel size and hinge / clamp anchoring. A licensed engineer in your jurisdiction handles final stamping.
