Staircase
Custom Staircase Systems
Spiral · Curved · Straight · Outdoor
Custom staircase systems for villa foyers, new home centerpieces, apartment retrofits and batch renovations — engineered in Guangdong, shipped worldwide.
A complete portfolio of factory-built staircase systems shipped to more than 60 countries. We build for villa owners, new home builders, and the architects and contractors who execute their projects. Send us a floor plan, an elevation or a finish schedule. We engineer the structure, fabricate to tolerance, and pack it for site assembly. This page collects the four staircase families we manufacture — pick the type that fits your footprint and click through for its system overview.
How to choose your staircase type
Staircase geometry usually comes down to footprint. Spiral fits the tightest spaces. Curved demands the most floor area. Straight is the everyday workhorse. Outdoor adds weather rating. The matrix below sets the four types side by side on footprint, structure and applicable code.
Engineered drawings, system overview
Four staircase families cover the residential market — spiral, curved, straight and outdoor. Each card opens its sub-system page with schematic, finish range and code citations. Our complete catalog and project photos stay private to protect client confidentiality. Reach out through the side panel (WhatsApp preferred) — we return a tailored solution and quote as quickly as possible.
TYPE 01 / SPIRAL
Indoor Spiral Stairs
Helical treads around a central column. Smallest possible footprint for villa lofts, apartment mezzanines and second-floor access where a straight flight will not fit.
- Custom diameter per floor plan
- Steel · wood · glass infill
- Center-column or eccentric layout
TYPE 02 / CURVED
Curved Grand Stairs
A sweeping radial flight following a single arc. Typical in luxury villa foyers and new home grand entries where the staircase becomes the architectural centrepiece.
- Custom radius per floor plan
- Single or double-flight layouts
- Steel stringer · wood / stone treads
TYPE 03 / STRAIGHT
Straight-Run Stairs
A linear flight from one level to the next — the simplest geometry and a predictable install. The everyday workhorse for apartments, townhouses and new home stair runs worldwide.
- Tread / riser ratio per IRC · IBC
- Steel · aluminum stringer options
- Trial-fit assembled before crating
TYPE 04 / OUTDOOR
Outdoor Stairs
A weather-rated structure with integrated guardrail and handrail. For villa garden access, rooftop terraces and new home outdoor stairs that face wind, snow and UV exposure.
- Integrated guardrail system
- Weather-rated finish (project-specified)
- Engineered to AS 1657 · IBC 1011
Drawings cite the codes your engineer of record reviews against
Staircase geometry — tread depth, riser height, headroom and handrail dimensions — is regulated by the destination jurisdiction’s building code. Every drawing package we issue references the relevant code family; your engineer of record cross-checks against local rules before stamping.
U.S. Residential
Applies to one- and two-family dwellings. Governs tread depth, riser height, handrail dimensions and headroom for staircases in single-family homes.
U.S. Commercial
Applies to apartments, multifamily and high-rise. Stricter tread/riser uniformity, mandatory landings and tighter headroom than residential code.
Australian Standard
The Australian standard for fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders — referenced for apartment, multifamily and external access stairs throughout Australia.
Australian Class 2–9
The National Construction Code Volume One — covers multifamily, hotel, office, retail and assembly buildings. Provides the access-and-egress framework AS 1657 plugs into.
From drawing review to site delivery
Four operating principles run through every staircase family we ship — the same workflow whether one villa centerpiece or a hundred apartment retrofits. Designed in our Guangdong studio and crafted in our wholly-owned 4,500 m² workshop, every staircase is trial-assembled before crating.
Drawing-First Coordination
Send CAD, SketchUp or a clean hand sketch. We return shop drawings before any quote is locked. Revisions continue until the package matches your site condition.
Trial Assembly Before Packing
Every staircase is fully dry-assembled in our Guangdong workshop. Tolerance issues get fixed in-house, not on your jobsite.
Export-Ready Crating
Pieces are bundled in install order and packed in export-rated wooden crating built for sea-freight transit and customs inspection.
Code-Framework Citation
Drawings reference the relevant code families (IRC / IBC / AS 1657 / AS 1288 / NCC / CSA). Your engineer of record cross-checks against your jurisdiction before stamping.
Cross-type selection questions
How do I decide between spiral and curved?
Spiral fits the tightest spaces at the cost of comfort and code restrictions — under IRC R311.7.10 most U.S. jurisdictions allow a spiral only as a secondary stair. Curved needs significantly more floor area but delivers a true grand-stair experience with code-compliant treads from the very first riser. Send us your floor plan dimensions and we will mark up both options.
Can I combine two staircase types in one project?
Yes — a common pattern is a curved feature stair from ground floor to first floor plus a straight or spiral connecting first to second. Each flight gets its own drawing package; we coordinate the floor-junction details and ship them in matched crates so site assembly stays in sequence.
What is the typical lead time for custom design?
Schedules vary by staircase type, finish complexity, port pair and ocean-freight conditions. Send your floor plan, target finish and destination. We return a milestone schedule — drawing review, fabrication, trial assembly, port-to-port shipping — before the order is locked. Expedited air freight is available when site conditions require it.
Do you ship to my country?
Our 800+ delivered projects span 60+ countries with primary export volume going to the USA, Australia and Canada. Incoterms (FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.) are agreed at order intake based on your freight forwarder and destination port. For destinations outside our common routes we will confirm broker support before quoting.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
One staircase per order is enough — we are a custom fabricator, not a stocked retailer. For batch renovation or multi-unit projects with repeating identical units we offer repeat-cut tooling. Send your unit count — we confirm whether tooling-level pricing applies and quote accordingly.
Send a drawing. Receive shop drawings before any quote is locked.
CAD, SketchUp, hand sketch or a Pinterest reference — we will work with whatever you have and confirm feasibility before the first invoice.
